No Juice

Two weeks ago, in my car, Andy is driving:

Andy: Your check engine light is on

Me: Oh is it? That means the battery is about to die.

Andy: How do you know?

Me: That is what happens when I need a new battery.

Fast forward a couple of days:

My jeep takes longer than usual to start a couple of times

Me: My jeep didn't want to start today. We need to replace the battery.

Andy: You don't know for sure it's the battery, it could be any number of things.

Me: Ok, whatever.

Fast forward to this afternoon:

I drive to town and my dead battery leaves me stranded

Me: (on the phone with Andy) I told you so

Andy: Yeah, well... just shut up.
